General delegation
A délégation générale (general delegation) is Québec’s most important government office abroad. Led by a delegate general appointed by the government, it provides services in the following areas:

- Education
- Culture
- Immigration

- Advisors, who are employees seconded from a Québec department for the length of the assignment.
- Attachés and support staff recruited in-country.
