Québec’s university network is noted for its institutional autonomy. Accordingly, each university is responsible for:
- Developing and managing its own educational and research programs.
- Developing student admission and registration procedures.
- Issuing degrees/diplomas.
Practical information
You can submit multiple admission applications at the same time; consequently, you may be admitted into more than one program or institution. If you are admitted into more than one program or institution, you must decide which one you wish to enrol in.
Please carefully follow the specific procedures for foreign students, which differ sometimes from the procedures for Québec residents. In addition, be sure to obtain confirmation that foreign nationals are authorized to enrol in the program you are interested in.
