Transportation
Québec’s land area is vast. It takes under a day to drive across it from east to west.
Getting around is easy and enjoyable everywhere in Québec thanks to an extensive road network. The network is highly diversified and ranges from country roads to highways.
Buses are available virtually everywhere and provide service between most cities in Québec. The VIA Rail train company links a number of large cities in the province, while planes provide service between major cities and are the only way to access some remote areas of the province. Québec has 2 international airports: Québec City Jean-Lesage International Airport and Montréal-Trudeau International Airport.
In cities, many Quebecers get around by bike. There are also public transportation services between large urban centres.
