Transportation infrastructures
Québec has intermodal transportation infrastructures that cover its entire territory:
- the St. Lawrence river, the longest navigable waterway in North America, has over 20 commercial ports along its length;
- three international airports offer links to foreign markets;
- 6 600 km of railways give access to all regions of Canada and the United States;
- 165 000 km of highways connects to all regions of Québec, Canada and the United States.
