Groundwater Knowledge Acquisition Program: Third Call for Proposals

The call for proposals by the ministère du Développement durable, de l'Environnement et des Parcs targets academic research institutions. These institutions will have to develop partnerships with catchment organizations, regional conferences of elected officials, regional county municipalities and municipalities. The call for proposals will be in effect until November 4.

This program was launched in 2008. It is designed to acquire knowledge and present a realistic and concrete portrait of groundwater in an effort to protect and ensure its sustainability. In Québec, groundwater is the most highly utilized drinking water resource. It serves 90% of the inhabited area and supplies 20% of the population.
