Passage of the bill to prevent skin cancer caused by artificial tanning

The National Assembly unanimously passed Bill 74, the Act to prevent skin cancer caused by artificial tanning.

Introduced on May 15, the bill prohibits the offer or sale of artificial tanning by ultraviolet radiation to people under 18 years old. In addition, all advertising promoting artificial tanning must include a warning about the adverse health effects of artificial tanning and state that people under 18 are prohibited from accessing tanning salons.
