1608 new subsidized childcare spaces - First projects accepted by the regional committees in six regions of Québec
Projects accepted following the recommendations of the advisory committees in the Capitale-Nationale (territory of Québec), Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine, Nord-du-Québec, Côte-Nord, Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Mauricie regions.
Project implementation will begin in 2012 and continue gradually until 2016.
By 2015-2016, the creation of 15 000 new spaces will raise to 235 000 the number of reduced-contribution spaces available in the educational childcare network.
