Protect those who protect you: Coming into force of the Move Over law on August 5

The move over manoeuvre must be carried out when an emergency vehicle, tow truck or surveillance vehicle is stopped and its yellow arrow light, rotating lights or flashing lights are activated. For drivers, the general manoeuvre consists in creating a buffer zone by slowing down, then moving away from the stopped vehicle, after making sure that it is possible to do so safely. If needed, drivers may stop their vehicle to avoid endangering human life or safety.
