2013-2020 Climate Change Action Plan (2020 CCAP)

The action plan and the adaptation strategy represent a total investment of nearly $2.7 billion. The 2020 CCAP is self-financed through revenue from the carbon market, as well as the duty on fuel and fossil fuels being extended until 2014. The plan contains 30 priorities for action, particularly in the fields of sustainable mobility, land use planning, and energy, which are sectors where Québec can make significant gains in reducing GHG emissions.

This action plan follows the one launched in 2006, which will expire this year.
